Jamie Redden

Jamie is the Standards and Licensing Officer for the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre, based in the Neurobiological Research Facility (NRF). She is responsible for Home Office license management, compliance with Home Office legislation, providing general support to NRF and research operations, and management of local databases, including animal management systems and administration of training and competency records.

Before joining the SWC, Jamie worked as an Aquatic Animal Technician and then as the BRF Admin and Project Coordinator, both at The Francis Crick Institute. Jamie completed her MSc in Wild Animal Biology in 2018 at The Royal Veterinary College, where she worked on behavioural indicators of welfare and training/enrichment practices in captive animals. She has a BSc in Zoology from the University of Hull.
