Jingjie Li
Research Fellow
Jingjie is a Research Fellow in the Erlich Lab. He recently completed his PhD at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre, where he investigated how the brain flexibly selects, maintains, and transforms information to guide decisions and actions. His research combines carefully designed behavioural tasks for rats with Neuropixels recordings, optogenetics, and quantitative modelling. He presented this work at the Cosyne main meeting, and a preprint is available.
He is particularly interested in motor control, short-term memory, and decision-making. His broader goal is to understand embodied cognition: how the body serves as a resource for cognition during task-solving, and the neural mechanisms that make this possible. Jingjie's CV.
