Human-Human Interface
As featured in the TED Talk below, this classroom-ready device from Backyard Brains offers a thrilling way to explore neuroscience through hands-on experiments that captivate students of all ages.
Experience the awe of watching information flow from one person's brain to another's muscles in real-time! Whether you're the 'Master' or the 'Minion,' everything you need is included to start this exciting journey today!
Below are some photos from a SWC visit to Rhydywaun School in Wales where we gave a demonstration using the Human-to-Human Interface. The “controller” (a SWC scientist) wore EMG electrodes on their forearm to capture muscle activity, and the “receiver” (a teacher volunteer) had electrodes placed near their ulnar nerve, allowing their arm to be moved involuntarily.
