Flora  Takacs

Flora discovered neuroscience through the beauty of anatomy while visiting Gabor Nyiri’s lab during high school in Budapest, Hungary. She completed her MSci degree at University College London where she worked on the quantitative characterisation of sub-second protective behaviour with Liam Browne. Flora also spent two summers at Janelia Research Campus, where she investigated active touch signals in large-scale cortical neural recordings with Marius Pachitariu. She joined SWC with the 2019 PhD cohort.
