Lennart  Oettl

Research Fellow

Lennart is studying the neural circuits underlying ethologically-relevant behaviours, such as social behaviour. Towards this aim he is doing large-scale neurophysiological recordings to determine the interaction of the amygdala and sensory circuits involved in social memory formation.

The results of this research will elucidate the neural circuits involved in social behaviour and could possibly locate targets for a more detailed understanding of mental disorders, in which these microcircuits may be affected.
