Research Fellow
Adrian Roggenbach is a Research Fellow in the labs of Tom Mrsic-Flogel and Tim Behrens at the SWC. He is interested in the role of prefrontal neurons in sequence learning and their contribution to tracking goal progress. To investigate this neural coding, he performs weeks-long continuous recordings with freely moving mice.
In his PhD, Adrian worked in the lab of Prof. Fritjof Helmchen (University of Zurich, Switzerland). He studied multisensory integration in the mouse posterior parietal cortex to find out how visual and tactile signals from the same object are combined. Additionally, he established a method for simultaneous optical and electrophysiological recordings by using flexible electrodes.
