Angela  Yang

Research Assistant

Angela graduated from King’s College London in 2025 with a bachelor's in Neuroscience and Psychology. She first joined the Hofer lab as a Research Assistant in July 2023, where she worked with Nate Miska to study the neural circuits underlying prior-mediated decision making in the International Brain Laboratory task.

She continued to complete her undergraduate thesis with the Hofer lab where she investigated the substantia nigra pars reticulata and zona incerta as contextual gates within the basal ganglia and prethalamic pathways.
